UPDATE: New York murder suspect caught after running gun battle with cops in Buford (wgtjradio.com) — A New York murder suspect was wounded and arrested after exchanging gunfire with officers in Buford, then later near Freeman's Mill Elementary School in Lawrenceville. Authorities say the man fled an early-morning warrant operation, shot at deputies, and was eventually taken into custody after a running gun battle that ended with him hospitalized in stable condition.
