LOCAL CHOIR COMPETITION TO AWARD $3,000 IN CASH AND PRIZES AND SHOWCASE YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS

The Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (GCAC) and Fortitude Foundation, Inc. (FFI) are giving youth choirs all over the Metro Atlanta area and Southern region an opportunity to win up to three thousand dollars in cash and prizes at the Third Annual “Bring the Noise – Psalms 98:4” Youth Gospel Choir Competition and Extravaganza. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Sugarloaf United Methodist Church located at 1795 Old Peachtree Road, Duluth, GA 30097.

The event has been an important fundraising event which supports education opportunities and community outreach programs within the Gwinnett County community; awarding thousands of dollars in scholarship money. Open to ten (10) choirs exclusively, this competition will showcase the Southern Regions greatest youth gospel choir talent. This year’s event will also showcase young entrepreneurs (Up to age 25).

School, community, and church youth gospel choirs and youth entrepreneurs (up to age 25) are invited to participate.
