Man Barricaded In McDonald's, SWAT Team Deployed

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department SWAT team has been deployed Tuesday morning to the McDonald's at Sugarloaf Parkway at Cruse Road in Lawrenceville. There is a man barricaded inside the restroom with a knife, according to police.

There are no known hostages and police say his motivations are unknown.

Members of the SWAT team are developing a plan to get him to peacefully surrender.
