Police Seek Lawrenceville Kroger Phone Snatchers

Images of the robbers, believed to be teens, were captured on video surveillance from inside the store.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Gwinnett County Police are looking for help finding a group of teens who snatched a cellphone at a Lawrenceville Kroger.

At about 10 p.m. on April 27, a man was walking through the parking lot of the Kroger at 1475 Buford Dr. when a man he didn't know called him over to speak with him.

He walked over to where the man was standing with several others. While having a conversation, one of them snatched the victim's cellphone.

All the young men got into a dark-colored passenger car, police say.

The victim was able to identify the people who were involved by viewing video surveillance from inside Kroger.
