Regular Customer Who Robbed Convenience Store Arrested: Police

Quaris L. Holland, 20, had made it all the way to Connecticut -- but so did U.S. Marshals.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A man who workers described as a regular customer of a convenience store before he robbed it has been arrested, police say.

Quaris L. Holland, 20, of Auburn, was arrested in Connecticut by the U.S. Marshal Service, Gwinnett County Police announced Wednesday.

He has not yet been booked into Gwinnett County Jail.

The robbery happened at about 4:30 a.m. at the Exxon at 4735 Sugarloaf Pkwy. in Lawrenceville on Thursday, November 3.

When Gwinnett County Police officers arrived, an Exxon employee said he recognized the suspect as a regular customer who worked at the nearby KFC restaurant.

Staff members at KFC positively identified Holland, police say, saying he had worked at the restaurant up until a few weeks before the robbery.
