A Japanese and a Jamaican restaurant were inspected.

The following are restaurant health inspection scores as reported by Gwinnett County:

This was the stand alone special's menu. To go menu, paper sushi menu, full menu appear correct. Items with roe asterisked as required. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 15B, Violation of Code: [.05(3)(h),(i) ] No QUAT test strips for QUAT sanitizer at warewashing sink. Need QUAT test strips. New Violation. 16A, Violation of Code: [.06(1)(h),(i) ] Water pressure low at handwashing sink by salad open top cooler. Increase water pressure for cold & warm water. New Violation.

Violations: 6-1D, Violation of Code: [.04(6)(i) ] Food items under time control not marked with prep time when removed from temperature control. Log sheet not completed for the day. Food under time control not documented with the time when removed from temperature control DISCARDED. No written procedures provided. Instead, provided a log sheet that listed food under time control, the prep temperature, the prep time. Had facility write procedures for time control. Facility no longer to use the log sheet. Instead, the facility must document the time when the food is removed from temperature control on the container itself. The discard time will be documented as well. Owner to figure out the type of labels that will be used. To correct the issue, the prep time & discard time was written on a piece of foil and a magnet was used to attach it next to the container. Written procedures for time control must be provided. Product must me documented according to written procedures when removed from temperature control. IF THIS ITEM IS MARKED OUT OF COMPLIANCE ON THE NEXT ROUTINE INSPECTION, THEN THE PERMIT MAY BE SUSPENDED. Corrected On-Site. Repeat Violation. 12C, Violation of Code: [.04(4)(m) ] Used cloth towels on counter. Must store cloth towels in sanitizer between uses. New Violation.
