Robbers Pose As Workers To Steal From Neiman Marcus

The men nearly got a glass case containing $100,000 in merchandise out of the Lawrenceville store.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Police are seeking several suspects for what they're calling an elaborate plan to dress up like workers and steal high-end merchandise from a Neiman Marcus store.

On January 28 at about 2:30 p.m., two men wearing yellow safety vests parked a U-Haul box truck outside of Neiman Marcus Last Call, at 5900 Sugarloaf Pkwy.

They walked into the store carrying a hand truck, loaded up a glass display case containing more than $100,000 in merchandise and attempted to remove it from the store.

They were confronted by employees and a struggle began, according to police.

A store manager was pepper sprayed and the glass case broke. The men abandoned the U-Haul truck and ran away from the scene.

Police believe the pictured suspects may be the people who rented the U-Haul truck the day before, from a gas station in Fayetteville, using a fake driver's license and a prepaid gift card.

Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
