School Shootings in USA on the Rise

A student fatally shot two classmates and left two in critical condition with gunshots wounds to the head. He opened fire in the cafeteria of his Washington state high school on Friday, following a fight with fellow students. Teenagers, nowadays, are killing innocent people for no reason at all. These senseless criminal acts leave pain, grief, and sorrow for the families of victims who struggle for answers. Our hearts go out to families of people who lost their lives again.

The number of shootings has been increasing significantly over the past five years. Unfortunately, as a nation we have been through this too many times. Whether it is an elementary school, or a shopping mall, or a high school these people (victims) belong to us. Every human life has been created by God and possesses special dignity. We as parents, doctors and educators need to understand the mental and physical health of our children and teach our next generation the values of humanity, love, and care. It is the time to teach our children that – love is for all and hatred for none.
