Thieves Target On-Duty Firefighters Throughout Gwinnett
Saturday night, someone broke into vehicles at four fire stations and one former fire station, mostly around Lawrenceville.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — A string of thefts Saturday night in Gwinnett County targeted some unlikely victims — on-duty firefighters.
Thieves forcibly entered the vehicles of firefighters parked at four active fire stations and one former station, Gwinnett County Police said.

- Station 5. Old Norcross Road near Breckinridge Boulevard
- Station 15. Downtown Lawrenceville
- Station 23. Steve Reynolds Boulevard near Meadow Creek High School
- Georgia Gwinnett College
- Former Station 10: Russel Road at Ga. 20
A suspicious person was spotted at another station — Fire Station 31 across from Georgia Gwinnett College. The suspect was chased, but not captured.
Gwinnett County Police say they are working closely with Gwinnett Fire personnel to investigate the thefts and to prevent further thefts from happening.
