Third Suspect Arrested in Alleged Lawrenceville Gang Hit
Gwinnett Police announced that Durell Leeshon Lewis, 25, was booked into jail on Friday.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- A third man that police say was involved in a gang hit ordered from behind prison bars has been arrested.
Police say Durell Leeshon Lewis, 25, was booked into Gwinnett County Jail shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday for the killing of 25-year-old Jeffrey Anderson.
Authorities say Andersonβs murder was a hit job ordered by Gordan Evans, an alleged leader in the Nine Trey Bloods street gang, over a $500 debt he owed.

Evans, an inmate at Hancock State Prison, has been incarcerated since 2003. Police say he had a contraband cellphone, which he used to monitor Andersonβs activities on Facebook and order Lewis and Dossie Davon Mann, 19, to kill him.
All three suspects are now in custody, police said Monday, and face similar charges which include malice murder, felony murder, false imprisonment and gang activity.

Last week at a preliminary court hearing for Evans, Gwinnett County Police Detective Patrick Watson testified that Evans became angry when he saw on Facebook that Anderson had apparently used money from a loan to go out to nightclubs instead of paying rent.
He then allegedly ordered Lewis and Mann to Andersonβs Lawrenceville home where, on November 24, they watched football with him before pulling guns on him.
The pair, according to Watson, held Andersonβs head under water in a bathtub before both men fired at him and, ultimately, Lewis shot him twice in the head.
Police found Andersonβs body several hours later. His hair was reportedly still wet from the bathtub.
