Two Murder Suspects Arrested In Gwinnett: Police

Officers arrested a suspect in a DeKalb County murder and a suspect in a Buffalo, NY murder.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA —The Gwinnett Police Department arrested suspects in two separate homicides last week, according to a news release.

The police department conducted a high saturation patrol on Sept. 3 and 4. An officer arrested Stephen Benjamin on an outstanding murder warrant out of DeKalb county on Friday. On Saturday, an officer arrested Calvin Clemons, who was wanted for murder by law enforcement in Buffalo, NY.

Over these two days, Gwinnett Police made a total of 11 felony arrests and four misdemeanor arrests.

Gwinnett Police stopped 188 drivers and issued 82 traffic citations and 15 miscellaneous citations.
