Two New Wayback Burgers Open in Gwinnett

The chain's third and fourth Georgia locations are in Lawrenceville and Buford.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA β€” Wayback Burgers has opened its third and fourth locations in Georgia β€” and both of them are in Gwinnett County.

In January, the burger joint opened up at the Shops at Huntcrest, in Lawrenceville, and on Buford Drive North in Buford, near the Mall of Georgia.

The two new restaurants have added about 40 jobs to the local economy, the company says.

Aside from burgers, Wayback offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, salads and sides, including fries, onion rings, home-style chili and House-Made Chips.

The Buford location is in a 1,600 square-foot building, featuring "a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint." It also has a patio for outdoor dining.

The Lawrenceville Wayback Burgers is in a similar, 1,500 square-foot building.

Before the Gwinnett openings, the only Wayback Burgers locations in Georgia were in Braselton and Savannah.
