Veterans Day Ceremony Pays Special Tribute to Gwinnett's Vets
Ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial.

The public is invited to attend Gwinnett County’s Veterans Day Ceremony, the annual tribute to the men and women who have served honorably in the military, and to the fallen heroes who lost their lives protecting our nation.
No new names will be added to the memorial during this year’s ceremony.
This year’s event includes a special recognition of all veterans attending the ceremony. Gwinnett County residents who have served in any branch of the armed forces and their families are encouraged to attend and participate.

WHERE: Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Ga. 30046
WHO: Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash, District 1 Commissioner Jace Brooks and County Administrator Glenn Stephens will lead this year’s event. The keynote address will be given by the Adjutant General for the state of Georgia, Maj. Gen. Jim Butterworth. Honor guard units from the Gwinnett County Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Sheriff’s Departments and the Lawrenceville Police Department will also take part in the event.
