• Lilburn Daze festival returns Oct. 10, enjoy family fun, food trucks, train rides and more (ocgnews.com) — Lilburn families can mark their calendars for Lilburn Daze on Saturday, Oct. 10, running 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lilburn City Park with free admission, parking, and shuttles. Expect arts and crafts, food trucks, kids' activities, train rides, and entertainment, all supporting community projects led by the Lilburn Woman's Club and the City of Lilburn. 
• Meet the Gwinnett County teachers of the year for 2028 (thegeorgiasun.com) — Two Lilburn schools are represented among Gwinnett's 2028 local Teachers of the Year, with Jeff Dumler honored at Lilburn Elementary and Brianca Noble at Lilburn Middle. They join more than 150 educators countywide who were selected by their peers and will be celebrated at a January 2027 banquet as the district narrows down its overall Teacher of the Year.
