OpenTable named 100 restaurants in the U.S. with "breath-taking views." Only one Georgia eatery made the list.

ATLANTA, GA — Looking for dinner with a view? A landmark Atlanta restaurant has made a list of the most scenic places in the United States to have a meal.

The Sun Dial Restaurant, which sits atop the Westin Peachtree Plaza in downtown Atlanta, has made the 2017 list of the nation's Top 100 Most Scenic Restaurants, compiled by food reservation website OpenTable.

The list highlights dining spots that offer "breath-taking views of nature, cityscapes and travel-worthy landmarks," according to the website. According to OpenTable, the list represents a diverse mix of menus, including Asian, French, Italian and Latin American.

"Diners enjoy seasonal contemporary-American dishes, inspired by local ingredients and crafted by Chef Justin Mason," writes OpenTable. "With spectacular views, tantalizing menus and live jazz to create the perfect ambiance, The Sun Dial Restaurant Bar & View truly is the ultimate Atlanta dining experience."

Spanning 72 floors, the Westin Peachtree Plaza is the fifth-tallest building in Atlanta and the 104th tallest building in the United States. It was Atlanta's tallest building when it was built in the 1970s and, for about a year, stood as the tallest hotel in the world.

The only Atlanta skyscrapers taller than the Westin are Bank of America Plaza, Suntrust Plaza, One Atlantic Cener and 191 Peachtree Tower.
