Back to School - Trip Style
The 2011-2012 school year starts off with big smiles at Trip Elementary.

With faculty and staff welcoming students as they stepped off the buses and then giving direction inside the school, everyone found their new classes to start their new year. Nervous parents in the parent drop-off line were waved along with a smile as students shouldered their back packs and greeted friends.
Marci Sledge, Principal at Trip Elementary, said they are right on projection with about 830 students this year. In her welcome during the TMN - Trip's morning announcements - she brought the first words of wisdom for this year based upon the teachings of Booker T. Washington. "I expect great things from you this week and at Trip," she said.
