NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course

Using the NRA training method of Total Participant Involvement, the Basic Pistol Course provides hands-on learning opportunities taught by certified NRA Instructors in the following areas:

1.  Firearm handling and shooting safety

2.  Firearm parts and their operation

3.  Ammunition and its function

4.  Shooting fundamentals and an opportunity to develop them on the range

5. How to select, clean and store a firearm

6.  Review of various activities available to  help participants develop their shooting skills.
