No one was reported injured in the blaze.

The house is located in the Great River at Tribble Mill subdivision just off New Hope Road.

When crews arrived at 1:52 p.m., heavy fire was showing from the garage and from the second floor on the left-front corner of the house. A car parked in the garage was also engulfed by flames.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading throughout the second floor, and isolated the majority of the damage to the garage and master bedroom closet above the garage. Crews also had to stop a small fuel leak from the car.

A female occupant at home at the time of the fire escape unharmed. The fire displaced the occupants.

Fire investigators say the fire was an accident, sparked by a slight leak from the stove in the garage; the stove was not in use at the time. The leak was apparently ignited by the water heater in the garage.
