GoFundMe Launched For Family Who Lost Everything In Grayson Fire
"They lost literally everything they own in a house fire. Christy, Marty and the children have nothing," Candace Colegrove, a friend, said.

GRAYSON, GA—Two days after a family lost everything in a house fire in Grayson on Wednesday, the community continues to rally behind them. As of Friday, a GoFundMe page set up for the family has raised nearly $7,000. The organizer of the fundraiser, Candace Colegrove, hopes to raise $100,000 for the Lynn family.
"They lost literally everything they own in a house fire. Christy, Marty and the children have nothing," Colegrove posted on the page. "They are currently still waiting on details as to how the fire started. This is a near and dear family to so many, and I know how great this community is, let’s all pull together and help this sweet family."
According to firefighters, two dogs were believed to be inside the house at the time of the fire as well. Firefighters confirmed that one of the dogs has since died. The second dog was reported missing.

The woman, believed to be Christy, told firefighters that she left the house around 3:15 p.m. to pick up her children from school. She told the fire investigator that she had a warming fire in the wood burning stove on the back-right corner of the house, officials said. The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.
