Grayson Man Killed in Crash Near Lenox

GRAYSON, GA -- A Grayson man was killed when his car veered off of Ga. 400 and hit some trees Sunday night.

Atlanta Police say Christopher Porter, 28, appears to have been speeding when his car went off the highway near Lenox Road.

The wreck shut down two northbound lanes of Ga. 400 temporarily.

WXIA-TV reported that Atlanta Police and HERO units responded to the wreck and found the car off the roadway and the driver's body inside.

Video from the accident scene showed crews using a crane to pull Porter's car from a tree-lined area along the roadway.
