Grayson Rams Hold No. 3 In Latest AAAAA Rankings

At 2-0 for the season, the Grayson Rams retain No. 3 in the latest AJC AAAAA poll.

The Grayson Rams continue to hold their own in the polls retaining a ranking of No. 3 in the latest Atlanta Journal Constitution AAAAA rankings. There are three other Gwinnett teams in the Top 10 rankings with Suwanee (2-0) at No. 7 and Norcross (2-0) topping it off at No. 10.

The new No. 1 team, McEachern, handed North Gwinnett its only loss in the season opener in the Corky Kell Classic. McEachern defeated Lowndes, the previous No. 1 team, last weekend 20-13.

The Rams also got off to a good start in the Dome at their season opener in the Corky Kell Classic, taking a close 7-0 win over the Kell Longhorns off Grayson's Robert Nkemdiche touchdown. The Rams went on to beat Edgewater, Ohio 49-21 last week and took a break this week, leaving them at 2-0 for the season so far. They travel to Archer to take on the Tigers in a regional game Friday.
