Grayson Rams - Finishing the Mission
The Grayson Rams football team head into Saturday's final of the 2011-2012 GHSA Class AAAAA State Football Championships ranked 1st in the state and 46th in the nation. Fans are asked to wear camouflage to the game.
As excitement builds in the Loganville-Grayson community for the championship-bound Grayson Rams, head football coach Mickey Conn has his team focused on one thing - finishing the mission.
By beating the Colquitt County Packers 35-31 in a last-minute touchdown Friday, the Rams, with a 14-0 record, secured a place in the 2011-2012 GHSA Class AAAAA State Football Championships in the Dome Dec. 10. The team heads into Saturdays final ranked 1st in the state and 46th in the nation. They're up against the Walton Raiders, also unbeaten for the season, and ranked 5th in the state and 108 in the nation according to Maxpreps.com. But Conn is not taking anything for granted. Everything is focused on getting the team ready for the big game. The Grayson Rams Football homepage is asking Ram fans headed to the game to wear their best camouflage in order to help the team "Finish the Mission."

Kick-off is at 8 p.m. with the Grayson Rams taking on the Walton Raiders – both teams 14-0 and in a final for the first time. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on GPB.
