Grayson Students Named 2012 National Merit Scholarship finalists
Two Grayson High School students were among the 46 Gwinnett County students named as finalists for the 2012 National Merit Scholarship program.

Two students from were among the 46 Gwinnett County students recently named to the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program semifinalists. This puts them one step closer to earning prestigious scholarships to college. About 16,000 students nationwide were named semifinalists on the list.

These students were selected based on college exam scores. They will go on to compete for one of 8,300 National Merit Scholarships, worth more than $34 million, which will be awarded in the spring of 2012.
