Police obtained warrants for Davis for simple battery and simple assault.

After the SWAT team responded, they found that Davis had fled the home before they arrived. He left the infant in the care of a family friend who returned to the scene after SWAT responded, police say.

The child was returned to its mother and was not harmed.

Gwinnett Police are asking anyone who has information about Davis's location to notify them immediately.
