LHS Red Devils Beat Madison 37-14
Many at Red Devil Stadium Friday wore blue in memory of fellow LHS student Madison Young who was killed in an accident last weekend.
The scored early and often Friday, taking their record to 2 and 1 after beating the Madison Red Raiders 37-14 Friday.
The Devils scored early and maintained the lead throughout the game finishing up the first half with a score of16 – 7. A drive at the beginning the second half moved them to 23 – 7 with their first possession. (See video clip). They found the end zone two more times, the last with seconds left in the game, racking up an impressive win. Late in the fourth, coach Eric Godfree replaced most of the first string with younger players.
Many in the crowd opted to wear blue in memory of LHS student Madison Elizabeth Young who died in a ATM accident Sept. 11, 2011.

The Red Devils will face Salem High at home next week with a 2-1 record for the season. Salem defeated Appalachee last night and go into next week at 2 - 2.
