Locals Get in on the Zumba Craze
Loganville Zumba instructor Kristen Henshaw heralds the multiple health benefits of Zumba.
Since first being introduced in Columbia, the high-energy Zumba exercise craze moved to the U.S. in 1999 and quickly spread through cities and communities across the country – Loganville included.
in Loganville offers Zumba classes three times a week. Instructor Kristen Henshaw touts the many benefits of Zumba to those who participate to include a great cardio workout, strength training and a fun way to get together socially.
“It’s a fun workout that doesn’t feel like a workout,” she said. "They feel sexy, they feel good about themselves by doing these moves. We do Latin dancing, we do belly dancing, hip hop – everything.”
