CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT
Activity date: November 18, 2014 – November 19, 2014
Zone 1
Road Closing – Habersham Circle was completely shut down due to a gas main break.
Fire Assist – Walton County deputies assisted the Walton County Fire Department with a structure fire on Cornish Mountain Church Rd.
Fraud – A fraud report was made on Cannonade Court.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Walnut Grove Elementary. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hightower Trail at Whitehead Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 3
Arrest – Christopher Deaton was arrested on Good Hope Rd. due to an outstanding warrant.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Harmony Elementary School on Harmony Church Rd. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Windfield Drive in the Windfield subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 4
Burglary – A residence was entered on Tommy Dillard Rd. Several items were reported missing from the residence including medications and jewelry. A suspect was named.

Zone 6
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Youth Monroe Rd. at Broadnax Mill Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. There were no arrests made.
Arrest – Robert Womack was arrested on Broadnax Mill Rd. in reference to Possession of Marijuana less than an ounce, several traffic charges, and an active warrant.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on McCullers Lane in reference to a red Honda Civic occupied by a male and a female. The male subject reportedly ducked when passing the complainant.
Recovered Property – A firearm was found inside a vehicle parked on Karlee Blvd. The firearm had been stolen out of Henry County.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 11 at Nicholsville Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. There were no arrests made.
Loitering – A subject was reportedly loitering at Between Grocery on Hwy 78.

Fraud – A fraud report was made on Atha Circle.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Atha Rd. Elementary School on H D Atha Rd. All windows and doors appeared secure.
