Loganville Dialysis Opens New Facility

Significantly larger facility on Highway 81 allows for center to serve more patients on a daily basis.

Loganville Dialysis Center, an independently owned facility specializing in hemo dialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home dialysis treatment, had a grand opening Tuesday of its new building at 3431 Highway 81 in Loganville.

At 6,700-square feet, the new facility is significantly larger than the old location at Faith Crossing in Loganville. The Center is under the leadership of Dr. Abid Bahir, who is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. His partner, Dr. Mary Ann Lim, joined the center in July 2009 after completed her residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut and practicing for a year before moving to Georgia.

Members of the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce as well as city officials were on hand for the grand opening. The larger facility allows for the Center to see more patients on a daily basis in more comfortable surroundings.
