Police say Trevaughn McBrier shot a man in the face and a teen in the back on Thursday in Snellville.
SNELLVILLE, GA — A Gwinnett County 18 year old has been arrested for shooting a man and a teen in Snellville last week.
On Saturday, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office fugitive unit received information that Trevaughn McBrier was at a home in Stockbridge and wanted to turn himself in to them. At about 7 p.m., deputies from the Gwinnett County and Henry County sheriff's offices, as well as agents from the U.S. Marshal's Service, went to a home and placed McBrier under arrest.
He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.

According to police, it was McBrier who, late Thursday morning, shot Andre Devost, 30, and Lashaud Smith, 14 — both of Snellville — at a residence on Highpoint Court.
The two victims were taken to Eastside Medical Center in a private vehicle. Hospital staff alerted police at 11:19 a.m., after the victims arrived.

Officers responded to Highpoint Court and say they found evidence of the shooting. There was an abandoned vehicle at the residence where the shooting is believed to have taken place.
Devost, who had been shot in the face, was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital, said police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera. Smith was shot in the back and treated at Eastside for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
