McConnell Middle School Teacher Semi-Finalist for Top Honor
McConnell Middle School teacher Lou Reynolds is one of the 25 semi-finalists chosen by GCPS as the possible 2012 Teacher of the Year.
Lou Reynolds, an eighth-grade mathematics teacher at in Loganville, is one of the 25 semi-finalists for Gwinnett County’s 2012 Teacher of the Year.
The school announced the list of semi-finalists Wednesday. Reynolds was one of those selected out of the 129 teachers nominated by their colleagues from each school to be considered for the system’s top honor. In all 15 elementary, five middle and five high-school teachers were chosen as semi-finalists.
The 2012 Gwinnett County Teacher of the Year will be announced in November at the annual Teacher of the Year banquet.
