Mr. Danny Moon, age 65 of Loganville, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville. Rev. Len Walker and Rev. David Gravitt will officiate. Burial will follow at Corinth Memorial Gardens.

Danny was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was born September 19, 1949 to Albert and Louise Moon of Walton County. He was a retired United States Marine, who earned a purple heart and many medals for his service in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of Loganville First United Methodist Church.

He married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Kate Stevens, on July 31, 1970. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia Stevens Moon; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Dana & Ken Callihan, Andrea & Cliff Peeler, Lauren & Jeff Barger, all of Loganville; Brothers: Thomas Moon of Oxford; Barry Moon of Monroe; Stevie Moon of Pendergrass; Alan Moon of Monroe; Sister: Shirley Casey of Monroe; 9 Grandchildren: Cooper and Christian Callihan, Brice, Brett, and Emma Peeler, Coleton and Ansley Parker, Addison and Danielle Barger, and many Nieces & Nephews.

Danny was a successful businessman in construction and real estate as well as a farmer. He was a generous giver to his community, family and friends. He was an accomplished fisherman, golfer, and hunter. He was also an avid Alabama football fan. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
