National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, September 27, 2014

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is an event where you can safely dispose of your expired or unwanted prescription drugs.

Did you know?

  • Families and friends are the biggest suppliers of abused prescription drugs.
  • Prescription medicines are now more frequently abused than cocaine, heroin, and meth combined.
  • One in five kids who reports having misused or abused a prescription drug has done so before the age of 14.

You can be the one to help prevent prescription drug abuse by participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, September 27th from 10 am to 2 pm and dispose of your expired or unused medications.
