Now Hiring: Baxter and Caterpillar Begin Taking Applications

Walton County Development Authority is advising that job applications are currently being taken for both and , two companies that have announced they will be relocating to the region in the coming months. Applications are being taken online at www.cat.com for Catterpillar and at www.baxterinternational.com for Baxter.

Catterpillar will begin production next year in an Oconee/Athens-Clark County operation currently being developed and Baxter is expected to break ground sometime this year on a new 150-acre plant in Covington. Between the two large operations, almost 3,000 news jobs are expected to come to the area in the next few years.
