Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival Set For Memorial Day Weekend

The 2018 festival is the sixth annual event sponsored by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces and focuses on the visual arts.

ATLANTA, GA — If you're still looking for Memorial Day weekend plans, consider the sixth-annual Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival.

The two-day festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27, in Historic Fourth Ward Park at 592 N. Angier Ave. in Atlanta. It will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.

The outdoor festival will feature a large artists' market, a children's area, live music, food and drinks and more. It is free and open to all ages and dogs are welcome.

Festival-goers are invited to explore painting, photography, ceramics, glasswork, jewelry, woodwork and handcrafted items. The festival also features live music in the park's amphitheater, art demonstrations, games, and much more.

Sponsored by the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces, the festival benefits a scholarship fund for local artists.
