• Police share how often officers search Flock camera data (wsbtv.com) — Loganville's police license-plate cameras scanned more than 345,000 plates in the past month, and residents can now see exactly how often officers search that data through a new public transparency portal. Chief Dick Lowry says stricter internal rules and weekly audits aim to prevent misuse, while some locals remain uneasy about privacy and potential future state-level changes.
   

• Constitution Week Sept. 17 – 23 each year commemorates the signing of the US Constitution (monroelocal.org) — Loganville's city council has officially proclaimed Sept. 17–23, 2026, as Constitution Week, marking the 239th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution and encouraging residents to reflect on its principles and protections. Mayor Branden Whitfield presented the proclamation to local American Legion Auxiliary leaders during last week's council meeting, highlighting the community's role in honoring this national milestone.
   

• Obituary: Isabella 'Izzy' Grace Sause, 19, of Loganville (monroelocal.org) — Loganville is mourning 19-year-old Isabella "Izzy" Grace Sause, a Loganville High School alum and Georgia College soccer player who died after a long battle with cancer. Friends and neighbors can pay their respects at her memorial service Friday, Sept. 18, at Graystone Church in Grayson, with visitation from 3–5 p.m. and a service to follow.
