• Bat tests positive for rabies, officials warn people to avoid odd-acting animals (wsbtv.com) — Health officials have confirmed a rabid bat found near the 700 block of Autumn Meadow Drive in Loganville and are urging residents to avoid odd-acting wildlife and keep pets' rabies vaccinations up to date. They warn that rabies is almost always fatal if untreated and provide a Gwinnett Animal Welfare number to report concerning animal behavior.
