Youth in Walton County will get an opportunity next month to have a Real Encounter with some Xtreme Sports stuntmen, courtesy of NewSong Church.
Real Encounter is a group of Xtreme Sports stuntment who do school assemblies featuring stunt bikes, motorcycles, skateboards and illusions.
“They bring a positive message about making good choices,” said the Rev. Joel Schuerman, pastor of NewSong Church in Monroe. “Newsong Church has a concern for the young people of our community. As you are probably already aware, the consequences of poor life choices by our young people lead to manifold problems for themselves, their families, and the community at large. Addictions to drugs & alcohol, teen pregnancies, domestic violence, and involvement in crime are creating ever-increasing pressures on our society.”
