Devils, Warriors fall hard; 'Canes win on road and The Lions defeat the Cougars at home

The Lions of L maintained top cat status over the Cougars Thursday night by a score of 14-6. LCA remains undefeated after 6 games this season, while the Cougars even their record at 1 and 1. The Pride prowls into Atlanta next Saturday to face Mt. Vernon Presbyterian, While the Cougars cool thier claws until October 14th, when they face Young Americans Christian Academy.

The Red Devils fell to the Salem Seminoles at home last night. The Devils held their own in the first half, but managed very little on the offensive side of the ball after halftime. The final score was 41-17. LHS heads to Athens to play Clarke Central next Friday.

also failed to mount much offensive sucess last night against North Hall. The Warriors Scored a pair of touchdowns, but the defense could not hold off the Trojan offense and lost by a score of 48 to 14. This brings their record to 1-3 as they head home to face West Hall next week.

Monroe Area's Purple Hurricanes came home victorious, besting Chestatee by a score of 42-35 last night. The 'Canes even up at 2 and 2. Next Friday they will face a tough Oconee County High.
