CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: March 17, 2015

Zone 1
Structure Fire- A vacant residence off Hollis Street caught fire. Extra patrol was requested.

Fire Assist- Deputies assisted Walton County Fire Department with a structure fire off Thompson Mill Road.

Alarm- Alarm went off at a business off Highway 138. Deputies checked the area everything Secure.

Zone 2
Nothing Reported.

Zone 3
Bomb Threat- On a school bus at Harmony Elementary a student reportedly yelled out that he left a bomb in the school. Procedure followed and no bomb located.

Prowler- Subject at a residence off Old Monroe Madison Highway reportedly heard someone knocking at the door. Area checked and no contact.

Zone 4
Suspicious Vehicle- Subject reportedly saw 4 wheelers in the roadway. Contact was made. Advised to stay off the roadway.

Zone 5
Harassment- Subject at a residence off Highway 81 subject was reportedly receiving phone calls from an unknown person.

Arrest- Johnsie Ouellette was arrested for DUI as a result of a safety check at Bay Creek Church Road and Old Zion Cemetery Road.

Arrest- Brandon Spinks was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Loganville Police Department for a probation violation as a result of a safety check at Bay Creek Church Road and Old Zion Cemetery Road.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bay Creek Church Road and Old Zion Cemetery Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Road and Highway 11. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 6
Trespassing- A subject at a residence in Ansley Lakes reportedly saw trespassers at the Rock Quarry. Four people were given warning citations for tresspassing.

Arrest- Parker Darling was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County for failure to appear.

Arrest- Michael Newman was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Walton County for contempt of court for child support.

Zone 7
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Cooper Ridge Drive and Guthrie Cemetery Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
