CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT
Activity date: December 8, 2014
Zone 1
Damage to Property – A mailbox located at a residence on Rivermist Drive was damaged.
Extra Patrol – A suspicious black pickup truck was observed on Amber Lane in the Amber Hills subdivision. Extra patrol was requested.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 138 at Forester Cemetery Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Zone 2
Unsecure Premise – The front door to a residence on County Line Rd. was found open.
Zone 3
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Old Monroe Madison Hwy. The door was found open. All appeared secure after the business was checked by deputies.
Unsecure Residence – Walton County deputies responded to a vacant residence on Jacks Creek Rd. The door to the residence was found open. All appeared secure after the residence was checked by deputies.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at Harmony Elementary School on Harmony Church Rd. All windows and doors appeared secure.
Zone 4
Vehicle Accident – A cow was struck by a vehicle traveling on Mt Vernon Rd. Walton County Animal Control responded to the incident.
Zone 5
Dispute – A former employee of a business on Lee Peters Rd. was issued a Criminal Trespass warning for refusing to leave the property.
Zone 6
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested for a business located on McCullers Rd.
Zone 7
Arrest – Zackery Lively was arrested on Harvest Way for assaulting another subject and a Walton County deputy. He was charged with numerous charges.
Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill at Cook Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
