Tornado Warning Issued in Gwinnett County (Updated)

The warning is in effect until 3:30 p.m.

A Tornado Warning is in effect for parts of Gwinnett County until 3:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Areas in the updated warning:

Portions of Gwinnett, Barrow, Hall, and Jackson counties.

At 2:44 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Suwanee and moving east at 35 mph.
