Walmart, Target Up-Skirt Photo Suspect Arrested
Snellville and Loganville PD investigation led to arrest of registered sex offender who was convicted of second-degree rape in 1998.
Police say the man wanted for taking photos up the skirts of women customers at stores in Snellville and Loganville has been arrested.
Snellville Police said on Facebook the investigation of Snellville and Loganville detectives led authorities to an arrest on Monday. According to Gwinnett County jail records, Jay Huston Williams of Snellville faces three counts each on peeping tom and eavesdropping charges.
WSB-TV and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Williams is a registered sex offender who was convicted of second-degree rape in North Carolina in 1998.

Snellville Police Chief Roy Whitehead told the Gwinnett Daily Post that Williams was seen on surveillance video “bending down, looking up, doing what appears to be taking pictures.”
The alleged incidents occurred at Walmart and Target, Snellville Police said.

The agency credited the community’s help, saying on Facebook, “Thank you all for the tips we received after the posted reports. You are great, and thank you for taking the initiative to help!!”
Williams is being held in the county jail for charges in Walton County. His bond has been set at $62,700, $11,200 for each count.
