Walton County Schools Offer Parent Resource Fair

is offering a free Parent Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. The program will be offered by the Title I Program Department of Exceptional Education, 21st Century Community Learning Center and more than 40 community resource vendors will share information with parents and caregivers.

The event will take place at at 1804 Highway 81 SW in Loganville and a free shuttle service will be offered from Monroe Area High School. The shuttles will leave from the Monroe location at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

• Surviving the Holidays Without Going Broke
• Mobility Options for those with Physical Challenges
• Student Inclusion Clubs: How they are Changing Lives in Walton County Schools
• College and Career Planning/Financial Aid Information for College
• Tough Love: Surviving the Tween and Teen Years
• Child Enrichment Outside the Classroom
• How to Save My Home
• Understanding the Elementary Math Curriculum
• From 9th Grade to Graduation - and Beyond
• Science Fun at Home
• Resources for People with Disabilities and Seniors
• Understanding the Secondary Math Curriculum
• Staying Connected - A Teen's Lifeline to the Outside World
• Self-Determination: What is it and How Can I Help My Child Become more Self-Determined?
• Financial/Legal Planning for Family Members with Disabilities
