Tuesday, July 12

Accident – A two vehicle accident with no injuries occurred on New Hope Church Road. Accident was handled by Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrest – A Walton County deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy. 11 at Dollar General. Two arrests as a result of the traffic stop. Raymond Holder was arrested for No Insurance, Driving with a Suspended License and Driving with Suspended Registration. Renae Dean was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Texas.
Suspicious Person – Complainant reported three males with flashlights and a blue and gold vehicle driving slowly in the area of Highlands Boulevard in The Highlands subdivision. Walton County deputy checked the area. No contact.
Monday, July 11
Arrest – Chadwick Dale Snyder was arrested for Battery following a dispute at a residence on Lee Peters Road.
Sunday, July 10
Accident – A two vehicle accident with no injuries occurred on Hwy. 81 and Watson Fain Rd. Accident was handled by Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Fraud – Resident on Fawn Valley Drive in Windridge Subdivision reported money was taken out of his account. The transaction occurred in Miami, Florida.
Saturday, July 9
Theft Report – The owner of some property on Paul Burson Road reported a trail camera had been stolen.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in the area of Alcovy Bluffs Subdivision due to recent Entering Autos in the area.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on HD Atha Road at Atha Road Elementary School. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.
Burglary Report – Resident on Youth Monroe Road reported some tools missing from his garage. No entry made to residence. Incident occurred sometime between July 3, 2016 and July 9, 2016.
Arrest – Freddie Carter was arrested for DUI and Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce following a traffic stop in the area of Hwy. 78 and Cedar Ridge Rd.
Accident/Arrest – Laura Pinner was arrested for DUI after a single vehicle accident in the area of HD Atha Road and Sardis Church Road.
