Walton County Sheriff's Report: Fatal Wreck, Trespassers Arrested, Drug Arrest

LOGANVILLE, GA — The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.
Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.

Tuesday, February 14

Extra Patrol — Extra patrol was requested in the area of Highway 81 in reference to a dark in color motorcycle speeding and driving recklessly in the area. This is an ongoing issue in the early evening hours.

Arrest — Adrian Booth was arrested at a residence in the area of Windermere Drive in Hidden Creek Subdivision for an outstanding warrant out of Dekalb County.

Monday, February 13

Arrest — Barry Irvin was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for Possession of Schedule II drugs following a traffic stop.

Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a single-vehicle fatality in the area of Bold Spring Road. Motorist was transported to the hospital where they were then pronounced deceased due to the injuries they sustained. Georgia State Patrol and Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division handled the scene of the accident.

Safety Check — Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bay Creek Church Road and Zion Cemetery Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests or citations in reference to this safety check.

Burglary — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Roscoe Davis Road to take a report of an unknown individual taking several items from the residence unlawfully.

Trespassing — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Highway 81 in reference to unknown individuals trespassing on the property. Deputies made contact with two individuals and both were issued criminal trespass warnings.

Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Windermere Drive in Hidden Creek Subdivision. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Traffic Stop — One motorist cited in the area of Highway 78 for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.

Sunday, February 12

Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the area of Bold Springs Road. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
