LOGANVILLE, GA — The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.
Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.
Wednesday, March 8

Extra Patrol — Extra patrol was requested in the area of Richmond Place subdivision for the morning hours in reference to speeding vehicles that pass the school buses.
Fraud —Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Round Ridge Road in reference to an unknown individual spending a significant amount of money on complainants account unlawfully.

Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bold Springs Road. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol — Extra patrol was requested in the area of Centerhill Church Road for the night time hours in reference to homeowner finding a flashlight that was still on in the wood line.
Damage to Property — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Joanne Drive in Caswell Plantation subdivision to take a report of an unknown individual messing with homeowner’s mailbox. Extra patrol requested in the night time hours in reference to the ongoing incident.
Burglary — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Buck Smith Road to take a report of an unknown individual entering complainant’s residence and going through their drawers leaving them opened. Nothing appeared to be missing at the time of the report.
Scam — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Hoke Court to take a report of an unknown individual contacting complainant claiming their family member was in jail and they needed funds in the form of Walmart Gifts card to bail them out. Complainant made contact with their family member and everything was okay.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Youth Monroe Road and Highway 78. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Citation — One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 20 for Driving While License Suspended following a traffic stop.
Arrest —Michael Hoynacki was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Centerhill Church Road for Speeding, Fleeing to Elude and a Taillight Violation following a short chase in the area following an attempted traffic stop.
Tuesday, March 7
Arrest — Joseph Tomlinson was arrested in the area of Lee Peters Road and Highway 78 for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a traffic stop.
Identifty Theft — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Orchard Circle to take a report and unknown individual opening several credit card accounts in complainant's name unlawfully.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Bay Creek Road and Piney Grove Road. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Identifty Theft — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Springdale Drive to take a report and unknown individual opening several credit card accounts in complainant's name unlawfully.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Bay Creek Road and Bay Creek Spur. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Monday, March 6
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 11 and Emmett Doster Road. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Arrest — Shaun Francis was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 20 and Centerhill Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Fraud — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Shepherd Lane to take a report of an unknown individual spending an extensive amount of money on complainant's account unlawfully.
Sunday, March 5
Arrest — Kenneth Veamoi was arrested in the area of Lee Peters Road and Etchison Road for an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County following a traffic stop.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Watson Fain Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident — Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 78 and Bay Creek Church Road. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Citation — One motorist was cited in the area Highway 81 and Double Springs Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.
Burglary — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Centerhill Church Road to take a report of an unknown individual taking several items from homeowner’s residence unlawfully. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.
Safety Check — Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 83. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Arrest and Citations Written in Reference to Safety Check: Lisa Lovins was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. One motorist cited for Driving While License Expired.
Arrest — Roy Adcox was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Atkinson Road for outstanding warrants out of Duluth and Gwinnett County following a traffic stop.
Saturday, March 4
Damage to Property — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Highway 11 to take a report of an unknown individual damaging homeowner’s fence. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.
Arrest — Maria Garcia was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Double Springs Road for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container and Failure to Maintain Lane following a traffic stop.
