LOGANVILLE, GA -- The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.

Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled this week in the Loganville area and beyond.

Entering Auto – Resident on Creekside Park in The Willows at Creekside subdivision reported his phone charger and a green, polo shirt were taken from his vehicle. Extra patrol requested in the area.

Stolen Vehicle – A 1987 Dodge Pickup truck with a gold driver’s door and a 2001 Snellville trailer with mesh gate and new wood floor were reported stolen from a residence on Knox Chapel Rd. A tiller, mower, trimmer, 300 gallon water tank and a full, 5 gallon gas can were also stolen.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Jim Daws Rd. and Harry Arnold Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Suspicious Person – A suspicious person was reported in the area of Hwy. 78 and Cattle Barn Rd. Subject was flagging down drivers, hollering and stating someone was trying to kill him. Area checked. Subject was transported to hospital.

Damage to Property – Resident on Bearden Rd. reported his mailbox was vandalized. Damage was discovered on June 20, 2016 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Extra patrol requested in the area.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Unisia Dr. at the Bridge. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Accident – A single vehicle accident occurred on Gene Bell Rd. and Carver Middle School. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Accident – A three-vehicle accident occurred on Hwy. 11 and Westmoreland Dr. Accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Bold Springs Rd. and Mountain Creek Church Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Johnny Norman was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Barrow County as a result of the Safety Check.

Entering Auto – A resident on Highlands Ave. reported money stolen from her vehicle. Incident occurred around 5:30 p.m.

Accident - A two-vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 81. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Theft Report – A resident on Centerhill Church Rd. reported a trail camera was stolen on June 20, 2016 around 10:00 pm.

Arrest – Brandon Howard was arrested for Driving with a Suspended License on Youth Monroe Rd. and Hwy 78 following a traffic stop.

Arrest – Bradley Sanders was arrested for Criminal Trespass at a resident on Old Hwy 138 after being found on location and being told numerous times to stay away.

Theft Report – Lumber was reportedly stolen from a residence on Park St. Incident occurred sometime over the weekend. Extra patrol requested in the area during the evening hours.

Accident – A two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on Hwy. 138 and Guthrie Cemetery Rd. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Rd. and Mill Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Wednesday, June 22

Trespassing – Resident on Jersey Social Circle Rd. arrived at her residence to find two unknown vehicles in her driveway. Five subjects were found on the property that had been fishing. Subjects were given Criminal Trespass warnings.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hawkins Academy Rd. and Amber Stapp Studdard Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Suspicious Vehicle – Resident on Pannell Rd. reported a silver car pulled into her driveway and was reportedly taking pictures of her residence. Area checked. Negative contact.

Damage to Property – A window was broken out of the concession stand at Criswell Park on Criswell Rd. It did not appear that anything was taken.

Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check Good Hope Rd. and Gene Bell Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Suspicious Vehicle – Resident on Mountain Creek Church Rd. report a silver vehicle parked in his driveway for thirty minutes. Area checked. Negative contact.

Firearms Discharged – Resident on Gratis Rd. reported firearms being discharged in the area. Area checked. Negative contact.

Entering Auto – Resident on Hwy. 11 reported her son’s work van was entered. Cash was reportedly taken from the vehicle.

Accident – A four-vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 81 and Bullock Bridge Rd. Accident handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check Atkinson Rd. and Marce Camp Rd. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.

Damage to Property – Subject reported being run off the road at GA 20 and McCullers Rd. by a black in color, Toyota passenger car causing subject’s right front rim to break.

Accident – A two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred on Centerhill Church Rd. Accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Suspicious Vehicle – A suspicious vehicle was reported in the area of Leone Ave. Area checked. Negative contact.

Littering/Illegal Dumping – Resident on Giles Rd. reported that somebody dumped trash on her property.

Road Rage – Howell Martenn was given a citation for Aggressive Driving following a road rage incident in the area of Hwy 81, Stewart Rd. and onto Briscoe Dr. in Stewart Manor subdivision.

Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Copper Ridge in the Copper Ridge Subdivision due to entering autos in the area.

Suspicious Person – Two subjects reportedly seen in the area of Emmett Still Rd. and Ashley Falls Ct. Area checked. Negative contact.
