Walton County Sheriff's Report: Shots Fired, Battery Arrest

LOGANVILLE, GA -- The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.

Here are some of the calls the sheriff's officehandled last week in the Loganville area.

Thursday, June 23

Accident: A single vehicle accident occurred on Bold Springs Rd. and Rolling Hills Dr. Accident was handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Arrest: Two subjects were arrested at a residence on Double Springs Rd. following a dispute where several shots were fired. David Mathis was arrested for Discharging Firearm while Under the Influence, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Reckless Conduct and Interfering with a 911 Call. Michael Mathis was arrested for Discharging Firearm while Under the Influence, Possession of Firearm by Conviction Felon and Reckless Conduct.

Arrest: Jeffrey Mondun was arrested for Battery following a dispute in the area of Miller Bottom Rd.

Accident: A single vehicle accident occurred on Hwy 78. Accident was handled by Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
