Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.
Wednesday, July 6

Suspicious Vehicle – Complaints were reported in the area of Deep Woods Drive in Deep Woods Subdivision in reference to suspicious vehicles. Complainant described the vehicles as a white, Toyota Tacoma extended cab pickup and a brown, Minivan with black wheels. The complainant stated he overheard the subjects in the vehicles making threatening remarks to any officers that may show up. Deputies checked the area and no contact was made with either vehicle.
Traffic Offense – Grover Campbell was given a citation for Driving with a Suspended License in the area of Hwy. 11 and Shoal Creek Road.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Miller Bottom Road and Flagstone Way. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.
Tuesday, July 5
Accident – A two vehicle accident occurred on Hwy. 81 and Bold Springs Road. The accident was handled by Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Piney Grove Road at Summit Court. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued or arrests made.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Rosebud Road at Manor Way. Deputies checked for required driving criteria: Driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. One citation issued as a result of the Safety Check. Darryl Giles was given a citation for Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce.
Traffic Offense – Mark Edward Stevens, Jr. was given a citation for Possession of Marijuana less than an Ounce in the area of Centerhill Church Road at Hwy. 20 following a traffic stop.
