LOGANVILLE, GA — The Walton County Sheriff's office shares incidents of interest with the public.

Here are some of the calls the sheriff's office handled recently in the Loganville area.

Sunday, January 29

Arrest — Kristian Dunning was arrested for driving with a suspended license in the area of Bold Springs Road and Highway 11, following a traffic stop.

Damage to Property — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Centerhill Church Road to take a report of an unknown individual running off the road and striking complainant’s power pole. Vehicle fled the scene prior to deputy’s arrival.

Arrest — Matthew Corder was arrested following a traffic stop in the area of New Hope Church Road and Nunnally Farm Road for driving under the influence.


Thursday, January 26

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 83. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check. Arrests in reference to Safety Check:

  • Dedremia Cummings was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Child Safety Seat Violation, and outstanding warrants out of Gwinnett County and Norcross.
  • Deondre King was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce.

Fraud — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Etichison Road to take a report of an unknown individual opening a DISH account in complainant's name.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Ozora Church Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Theft — Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Lake Edmond Road to take a report of an unknown individual taking $5,500 worth of welding equipment from the residence unlawfully.
